MY NATURAL BEAUTY PICKS FOR NOVEMBER
With every good being beauty box review, the first 2 items are “my picks.” You have the option to choose 2 items to be included in your next organic beauty box.
Blissoma // Flawless Equalizing Anti-Blemish Oil Serum // travel-size // $24.00
You know an all-natural skincare product is amazing if you want to re-purchase it… again & again. After using this for a few days, I could see a difference in my skin! This raw & organic oil diminishes the appearance of blemishes without destroying the hell out of your skin like conventional {salicylic} acids do.
The smell is lovely & comforting … it reminds me of baby calf feed. Yes, you read that correctly 🙂 Although the scent is strong, it dissipates once applied to your skin.
It’s funny how scents can take you back to a certain place in your life. The notes of molasses, hay & an open-air cow barn, take me back to my high-school days of working on a dairy farm – 3:30 a.m. before school & 3:45 p.m every day after school.
Sahajan // Restorative Eye Cream // travel-size // $25.60
If you could only have 1 skincare product – it should definitely be an eye cream! The skin around your eyes in the most thin, which makes it susceptible to wrinkles. I was excited to try this organic eye cream from Sahajan, because it contains Neem oil, which has a ton of amazing benefits.
The consistency of this organic eye cream is very thick & moisturizing, unlike the thin & watery consistency of most eye creams.
CURATED ITEMS FROM NOVEMBER’S GOOD BEING BOX
MyChelle // Lip Hints Conditioning Lip Balm // full-size // $12.50
Unlike the previous product that I hated from MyChelle, I really, really love this lip balm. The formula is insanely moisturizing & smoothing without being sticky or tacky. The best part about this balm is the refreshing spearmint oil – it’s as refreshing as chewing a minty piece of gum.
The color is Plum, but the formula is very, very shear. If you want to intensify the shade, you could add it with another lip color.
Au Naturale Cosmetics // The Anywhere Crème Blush Stick // travel-size // $11.66
This “anywhere” blush can be used on your cheekbones, lips or eyelids. I received it in the color Adrenalin…. & let me tell you, this color is AMAZING & wonderfully pigmented.
It’s the perfect organic dupe for the NARS Boogie Nights lip gloss, except there are no harmful ingredients like parabens. On my skin tone, this blush looks too clown-like. BUT… using it as a lipstick is absolutely gorgeous!
Plaine Products // Organic Shampoo // travel-size // $5.00
I was not excited at all about receiving another Plaine Products item. While I kept an open-mind & tried this sulfate-free shampoo, it disappointed me in the worst way. This shampoo made my hair feel straw-like – not a feeling I typically try to achieve! For now, I’ll be sticking to my holy-grail organic shampoo.
