I normally receive these boxes at the beginning of the month, but received it late because of the hurricanes on the east coast.

What did I get in my box?

good being beauty box – the September review

As with every good being box, you get to choose 2 items for your box. I try to pick items that I’ve never tried before & also try to pick the higher value items as my “pick 2”.

Pick #1: MyChelle Clear Skin Cranberry Mud Mask // full-size // $25

mychelle mud mask

I really hated this product… the smell is horrendous. I applied it to my face & immediately washed it off, because of the overwhelming sulfur {aka rotten eggs} smell. The smell lingered on my face ALL DAY… even with a full face of makeup.

With the nature of any subscription box, you’re never going to love every single product. I choose to look on the bright side for products that I hate… I didn’t pay full-price to try out this product… only to toss it in the trash.

Pick #2: B True Eyelash Enhancer // full-size // $59

OMG, this 1 product made this month’s box sooo worth it for me! I have to admit, I was so skeptical & scared to try this product! I’m extremely cautious of what products I use near my eyes… because I value my eye sight!

I almost didn’t give this eyelash enhancer a try…

I read a review where someone said it smelled like a pine-scented cleaner. I’m not sure what their Mary Jane was laced with… because it doesn’t smell pine-scented at all! Just an FYI – I’m super sensitive to scents. To me, this smells like an olive oil with an ever-so-slight hint of citrus.

This wasn’t supposed to happen…

B True Beauty states that you can start seeing results in as little as 7 days. Okay, so remember I’m super particular with the products I use around my eyes? I decided to use it once & give it a week or two, *just* to make sure I didn’t develop an allergic reaction.

I totally swear…

After using it only that one time, I actually noticed a difference in my eyelashes! They were thicker & fuller! I’m so excited that this is a non-toxic alternative to toxic eyelash extensions, toxic eyelash serums & toxic eyelash glues. Seriously, what are you waiting for? Purchase it now to try it for yourself! 🙂

good being Beauty Box – The Curated Items

Curated Item #1: AirBiotics Probiotic Cleaning // travel-size // $20.63

AirBiotics probiotic cleaning in good being beauty box

How stinking cute is this? It’s a mist & hand cleaner with probiotic protection. The best part aside from being non-toxic & allergy-free, is that it’s hospital & university tested & approved! This is the perfect item for a germophobe & for someone with a weakened immune system.

Curated Item #2: Me to We Rafiki Bracelet // $10

This bracelet is more than a piece of jewelry – it has a wonderful quid pro quo social mission. You get a bracelet handcrafted by artisans in Kenya & in return, those artisans earn money to empower their lives.

I have small wrists & wrap bracelets never look good on me. I’m going to repurpose this as a necklace instead. 🙂

good being Beauty Box September – My Verdict

This month’s box had an insane value of $114.63!! I have their quarterly subscription, so it only costs me $20/month. That’s like getting $94.63 in FREE products! The reason why I love good being’s subscription box is that they give you the option to choose 2 products every month. This box was AWESOME, which is why I renewed my quarterly subscription.

P.S. – you’ll thank me after you try this all-natural eyelash enhancer! 🙂
