*If you love bacon, but don’t love the amount of prep time that it takes, give this meal-prep bacon hack a try! This kitchen hack allows you to make bacon in less than 1 minute! 

Who doesn’t love bacon? It makes everything better! It’s crazy delicious & the perfect meat for breakfast. If you’re like us, when you wake up in the mornings, on the weekends, you want breakfast right now, & not one hour from now. Right? When hanger strikes, you don’t want to waste time making bacon. Want to know our secret for making bacon in under 1 minute? 


It’s a simple 2-part secret. The first secret is the NuWave Oven. The second secret is cook once & eat several times. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a “free meal” at breakfast time? A “free meal” is any part of your meal that’s free of most of the prep work.



1. Lay your bacon on the rack that comes with the NuWave Oven , making 1 batch at a time. For crispy bacon, cook it for 12 minutes. Press “cook time” then “1;2” & “start.”

2. Allow bacon slices to cool;

3. Divide the bacon into sandwich bags, making sure each one has enough for one meal;

4. Seal the bags & toss into the freezer.

Okay, so how do you make the bacon once it’s frozen?…


When you’re ready to eat bacon, toss it on a plate (without the bag) & microwave for 30-45 seconds. I know what you’re thinking… “it probably tastes rubbery once it’s re-heated”. The first time I experimented with this method of meal-prepping bacon, I was afraid that it would turn rubbery once re-heated. I’m so glad I was wrong. It tastes like it was freshly made. There’s absolutely no rubber taste at all.

If you cook your bacon to a crisp, like we do, you’ll also be happy to know that once you re-heat it, the bacon still tastes crispy. It’s not chewy at all!
